About The Position

The Senior Technical Program Manager at Mastercard's Corporate Solutions team will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives focused on the Embedded Finance application. This role involves establishing a Java, Spring, and Hibernate-based technology stack to support multiple Mastercard commercial products, consolidating transaction details from various sources to deliver actionable insights. The position requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of technology, and exceptional program management skills to drive innovation and execution within the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience with JIRA or Rally for Agile project tracking and management.
  • Experience with MVC frameworks like Spring (Batch, Boot) and ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.
  • Strong proficiency in JMS/Messaging, with hands-on experience in middleware such as WebSphere MQ or Apache Kafka.
  • Proficient in Oracle database management and SQL query writing.
  • Skilled in breaking down high-level requirements into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Confident with interface specifications, running queries, and conducting high-level technical analysis.
  • Proven experience working with multiple global stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the Payments domain, PCI, PII, and other financial security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business needs into detailed product requirements.
  • Work closely with Agile development teams to evaluate application impacts and determine optimal functional solutions.
  • Lead backlog creation and refinement sessions, defining user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Define acceptance criteria, review deliveries, and provide sign-off based on demo sessions.
  • Conduct impact assessments on new projects, facilitating accurate estimations and breaking down stories for sprint planning.
  • Collaborate with project teams and business owners across multiple geographies.
  • Document insights, learnings, and best practices to enhance long-term team efficiency.
