About the position

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Verkada, you will play a crucial role in partnering with the Software Engineering Leadership team to source, recruit, and close talented engineering professionals. This position is essential for supporting the company's rapid growth in the competitive Silicon Valley market, focusing on delivering a high-quality candidate experience and managing the full cycle of recruiting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Full cycle end-to-end recruiting (sourcing, screening, process driving, and closing).
  • Develop relationships with the Software Engineering team to collaborate during the hiring process.
  • Make compelling presentations to all candidates about Verkada and the Software Engineering Organization.
  • Strategize and develop unique ways to engage top talent: Use strategic platforms and creative engagement strategies to source excellent talent and actively source passive candidates (IC, Manager+).
  • Manage a full cycle recruiting process, keeping a strong pipeline and managing the interview schedule.
  • Track and document candidate communications in ATS (Greenhouse).
  • Deliver a high touch, high-quality transparent, and honest candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years of successful full cycle tech recruiting experience. In-house recruiting experience is essential.
  • Strong ability to influence using collaboration.
  • Ability to navigate and flourish in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Experience managing multiple internal competing priorities.
  • Commitment to excellence and top performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Local to the Bay Area - HQ in San Mateo, CA (or open to relocation).
