About the position

The Senior UI/UX Designer will have a strong background in interaction design, user research, market research, prototyping and architecting optimal user flows for both mobile and desktop applications. You are responsible for creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices for complex and large-scale products. Your insights from market research will inform design strategies and ensure products meet user needs and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop intuitive and engaging interaction designs that enhance user experience across various platforms.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and mock-ups that effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Conduct thorough user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Implement usability testing, surveys, and interviews to gather insights and inform design decisions.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our design solutions.
  • Perform heuristic evaluations to identify usability issues in current designs and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Develop detailed use journey maps that illustrate user experiences across different touchpoints.
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes and interactive mock-ups to validate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders and users.
  • Architect best user flows for mobile and desktop applications, ensuring seamless and efficient user journey.
  • Create detailed visual design specifications and documentation for web and mobile platforms.
  • Produce and refine ready assets, including icons, graphics and visual elements, for use in digital products.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and marketing.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as an Interaction Designer (UX/UI) in corporate product design with a focus on mobile.
  • Expert knowledge and proven track record designing for mobile (native apps and mobile web), desktop and responsive design.
  • Experience practicing corporate design with a clean, modern aesthetic, validated and showcased through an online portfolio.
  • Expert software skills using Figma, Zeplin, Adobe Suites, and/or InVision.
  • Experience creating style guides, pattern libraries, and other design system solutions.
  • Ability to create use case scenarios, complex user flows/information architecture, wireframes, mock-ups, UI and visual specifications and interactive prototypes (Lo-Fi and Hi-Fi) for web and mobile platforms.
  • Familiarity with design validation testing; user research skills a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to deliver effective stakeholder presentations to both peer and executive level audiences.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS with Java or some coding skills a plus.
  • Ability and passion to understand the user mind-set, natural behaviors, emotions and needs with deep empathy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
