Senior UX Designer, Alexa Personality

The Alexa Experiences & Services team is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to work on Personality Experiences as well as other exciting Alexa projects. The Alexa Personality designer will support the Alexa Experiences and Services team to enhance the customer's experience by anticipating their needs or current context - and meet those needs with information, suggestions, and/or actions in the most appropriate interaction modalities and CX across multiple product surfaces. This Senior UX Designer will work on innovative Alexa features and revise existing features. You will create elegant, intuitive user interfaces that meet unique customer needs. You will work closely with other designers, researchers, product management, engineering, data science and operational teams to successfully go from early stage product concepts to iterations and launches of new features.

Responsibilities

• Create elegant, intuitive user interfaces that meet unique customer needs.
• Work closely with other designers, researchers, product management, engineering, data science and operational teams.
• Visualize an experience in the abstract and drive that vision into concise design deliverables.
• Advocate for design excellence and help create meaningful, emotional connection between customers and products.
• Connect and collaborate with designers and researchers across the Alexa team.
• Develop design concepts that will be reviewed with leadership.
• Deliver detailed visual and interaction specifications.

Requirements

• 8+ years of design experience.
• Have an available online portfolio.
• Experience with design tools such as Figma and Adobe CC.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes.
• Experience with UX design of complex workflows.
• Experience with Hands on Visual Design.
• A well-crafted portfolio that demonstrates experience creating innovative visual design solutions.
