About the position

The Senior Wireless Network Engineer at Humana plays a crucial role in designing, analyzing, planning, and modifying network components that support customer communication implementation activities. This position involves tackling moderately complex to complex issues, requiring an in-depth evaluation of various factors. The engineer is responsible for developing and evaluating wireless network implementations across different office environments, including small, large, and campus settings. This includes preparing analyses of both short-term and long-term capacity needs for wireless technologies, conducting network architecture design, feasibility studies, and cost analyses. In this role, the Senior Wireless Network Engineer will develop alternative routing scenarios and adjust the sequence of network activities as necessary. They will also conduct economic and population growth studies to assess their impact on network capacity and development plans. The engineer will begin to influence departmental strategy and will be expected to make decisions on moderately complex to more complex issues regarding the technical approach for project components, working with considerable autonomy. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage complex multi-organizational projects effectively.
