SEO Analyst Internship

About the position

ConnectPrep is seeking a talented, creative, resourceful, driven social media guru to assist with building our social media profile, search engine, keyword research, and marketing/outreach campaigns. The ideal candidate is ambitious, data-driven, and understands our short and long-term goals. A thorough knowledge of using Adwords, analytics, metadata, and KPIs to understand market opportunities is essential. Our team is dedicated to helping as many families and students as possible, and we are looking for a new team member who shares these passions and will help us scale our company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building social media profiles and marketing outreach campaigns.
• Conduct keyword research and create keyword repositories based on client feedback and industry research.
• Implement proven strategies for growing natural/organic search.
• Run paid search campaigns using AdWords.
• Elevate the company's profile, views, reviews, and overall following through social media.
• Utilize Google Search Console, Webmaster, and Google Docs effectively.
• Identify technical and social opportunities on other websites.
• Review and analyze external link profiles for improvement opportunities.
• Assemble and analyze performance reports showing SERP visibility and traffic trends.

Requirements

• Current high school, college student, or recent graduate.
• Strong communication skills (oral & written).
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Proven strategies/results with growing natural/organic search.
• Proven strategies/results with running paid search/AdWords.
• Expertise in using Google Search Console and Webmaster.
