About the position

The Service Desk Coordinator at Paul Mitchell The School Rhode Island is responsible for creating an extraordinary experience for service guests and prospective Future Professionals. This role requires a professional with sales and service experience, basic guest service communication skills, and the ability to support a smooth guest service flow in the clinic classroom. The coordinator also acts as a mentor to Future Professionals, ensuring high standards of guest service are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Create an extraordinary experience for service guests and prospective Future Professionals.
  • Act as a guest service mentor to Future Professionals.
  • Follow all service desk systems to support a smooth guest service flow in the clinic classroom.
  • Manage guest service communications effectively.
  • Assist in charitable fundraising and special events.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience in a guest service environment.
  • Excellent organization, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Experience in supervision and teamwork.
  • Solid work history with verifiable references.
  • Passion for the beauty industry.
  • Honesty and professionalism.
  • Experience in cash management and balancing cash drawers.
  • Inventory control and product management experience.
  • Experience handling phone systems.
