About the position
The Service Detailer position at Lucid is a hybrid role focused on ensuring the smooth operation of the service team by preparing and detailing new and used vehicles for retail, as well as maintaining the internal fleet's appearance. This role requires adaptability to a rapidly changing workload and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash vehicles interior/exterior as needed and prepare them for retail
- Polish and perform paint corrections as needed
- Move and stage vehicles as needed
- Deliver to technicians or help receive/ship parts as needed
- Assist other service department members as needed
- Perform other administrative and support functions as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or relevant work experience
- Ability to creatively solve problems and think quickly in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Passion for creating positive client experiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary software
- Must possess a valid driver license
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in luxury retail
- Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrains
- Start-up experience and related fast-paced environments
