About the position

The ServiceNow IT Asset Management Technical Product Owner at CVS Health is responsible for overseeing the IT Asset Management (ITAM) product offerings within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a strong technical background in ITAM, Agile/SAFe product management, and excellent communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders. The position involves roadmap planning, prioritization, and ensuring the successful delivery of ITAM features while coaching the Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison to Product Owners/Managers across the ServiceNow Platform.
• Participate in the ServiceNow Platform Demand Board, providing product expertise.
• Serve as the primary contact for ServiceNow Platform Governance bodies.
• Represent the technical perspective in ITAM roadmap planning.
• Communicate roadmap priorities to the Agile team.
• Translate roadmap priorities into technical, process, and OCM deliverables.
• Develop Epics based on the roadmap.
• Coordinate topics for Program Increment (PI) Planning and facilitate planning sessions.
• Engage in sprint planning sessions.
• Assess and accept the delivery of features.
• Represent team progress in weekly status meetings.
• Ensure stakeholders review upgrade release notes and gather recommendations for roadmap discussions.
• Informally manage team workload and dynamics.
• Coach the team in Agile roles and monitor Scrum Master compliance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow administration, testing management, and platform engineering.
• Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and other ServiceNow capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile Framework, Scaled Agile, and ability to operate in a non-purely Agile context.
• Ability to manage upward and deliver negative news to authority.
• Strong commitment to the Agile process or replanning as business needs require.
