The Service Order Dispatcher at PRIDE Industries plays a crucial role in managing service requests and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves receiving, recording, and distributing work orders to service crews, while maintaining communication with customers and other departments. The dispatcher is responsible for scheduling services, tracking work orders, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, all while adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Receive, record, and distribute work orders to service crews based on customer requests.
- Document information from multiple sources with a focus on customer service.
- Research complaints and recommend resolutions to issues.
- Translate oral information from clients into work order software accurately.
- Identify, organize, plan, and prioritize maintenance and repair requirements.
- Relay work orders, messages, and information to others via various communication methods.
- Create, coordinate, and track service orders to ensure timely completion.
- Audit and maintain documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Represent PRIDE Industries to customers and the public.
- Follow all safety rules and protocols.
Requirements
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and service order applications.
- Effective oral and written communication skills to interact with vendors, customers, and management.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with staff and customers.
- Follow structured procedures to provide services and identify solutions to problems.
- Attention to accuracy and detail in compiling, coding, and verifying information.
- Ability to manage and track resources and time, adapting to changing priorities.
