About the position

The Service Team Member ensures "Best in Class" customer service from start to finish. Responsibilities include helping prepare delicious food, maintaining cleanliness, greeting/helping customers with their orders, processing orders efficiently, suggestive selling, handling payment/cash transactions accurately and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with restaurant team members and management to achieve operational goals, maintain a positive work environment, and uphold company standards.
  • Greet and assist customers with their orders in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Continuously strive to meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
  • Assist in preparing food items in strict compliance with company recipes and procedures.
  • Process and assemble customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Apply suggestive selling techniques to complete the customer experience and increase sales.
  • Handle payment and cash transactions accurately and professionally, following all cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Follow all food safety, food rotation, and sanitation policies and procedures to maintain a safe/healthy environment.
  • Clean and replenish beverage stations, assist with dish washing, food/product inventory and rotation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, exterior dining, and parking lots.
  • Continuously scan the floors for debris and water, and promptly clean to prevent hazards.
  • Ensure all paper and disposable items are well stocked and available for customers.
  • Welcome customer feedback and address any comments or concerns positively and supportively.
  • Ensure that all feedback is communicated promptly to the restaurant management team for swift resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support restaurant operations.

Requirements

  • Obtain Food Handler Certification promptly upon hire, adhering to EPL policy and state regulations.
  • Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred but not required.
