About the position

The Service Technician II position at Westminster Management involves performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of properties. The role focuses on providing exceptional service to residents and requires a keen eye for detail, along with a passion for property management. Technicians will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall upkeep and appearance of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical and plumbing maintenance including repairs and replacements of fixtures, outlets, and appliances.
  • Conduct painting, carpentry, HVAC, and masonry work to maintain and enhance property aesthetics.
  • Complete all maintenance service requests and make-ready processing of vacant apartments.
  • Engage in grounds work to maintain the property’s exterior and landscaping.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience in property maintenance or related trade.
  • Proficiency in using general maintenance equipment, including hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to walk up 3 flights of stairs multiple times a day and complete 5,000 steps daily.

Nice-to-haves

  • HVAC experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Apple iOS devices.
