The Proposal Manager for Services at Black & Veatch will play a pivotal role in leading multiple proposals related to Conventional Power Generation. This position is designed for an individual who is not only skilled in proposal management but also passionate about contributing to sustainable infrastructure solutions. As a Proposal Manager, you will be an integral part of a dynamic proposal development team that includes engineers and subject matter experts. Your primary responsibility will be to manage proposal efforts, ensuring that all submissions are client-centric, visually appealing, and compliant with the required standards. In this role, you will be tasked with reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to determine client requirements, preparing and assembling proposals, developing strategic approaches, and writing, reviewing, and editing proposal content. You will also compile proposals for submission and assess the resources necessary to complete these pursuits. The position requires a collaborative spirit, as you will work closely with client account managers, project directors, and engineering teams to establish proposal schedules and ensure that all content aligns with brand standards. The Proposal Manager will actively implement process improvements, incorporate lessons learned from previous proposals, and analyze market intelligence to stay ahead of competitors. You will coordinate and integrate reviews from various support groups, including legal, contracts, finance, and insurance, to ensure that all proposals are comprehensive and well-supported. This role is hybrid, allowing for flexibility with two days of remote work and three days in the office each week, providing a balanced work-life environment.
