The Services Solutions Engineer plays a crucial role in managing and promoting Rockwell Automation Services, focusing on customer needs related to preventative maintenance, personnel training, and asset management. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen to effectively address the service needs of clients and enhance their operational efficiency. The engineer will be responsible for both pre-sale and post-sale activities, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained and that the services provided meet the highest standards. In the pre-sale phase, the engineer will prepare an annual Business Plan that analyzes local service market opportunities, identifies strategic customers, and develops promotional activities to establish service sales goals. Collaboration with engineering, operations, and sales teams is essential to promote the portfolio of services effectively. The engineer will also work closely with sales to identify and qualify strategic target accounts, traveling to these accounts to promote various productivity enhancement services, including Repair Parts Analysis, Condition Monitoring, Predictive/Preventive Maintenance, and Asset Management Support Agreements. Additionally, participation in the development of service contracts and agreements between Mc-Mc, Rockwell Automation, and customers is a key responsibility. Post-sale, the engineer will monitor customer satisfaction and the performance of aftermarket services, taking corrective actions as necessary. Building strong working relationships with RA Services is vital to coordinate the supply of aftermarket services that support product, system, and solution sales. The engineer will also work with vendors to develop and maintain a quality customer-training program, documenting sales growth in assigned products and services within identified target accounts. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that customer needs are met and that the services provided are of the highest quality.
