About The Position

The SharePoint Developer is responsible for designing and customizing an employee resources SharePoint site within the Human Resources (HR) department. This role involves close collaboration with the VP of Human Resources and the HR Leadership Team globally, focusing on writing and maintaining code, debugging, and coordinating with various functional areas within HR.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience working as a SharePoint developer.
• Solid knowledge of project schedule management.
• High level of conceptual and analytical skills with a strong problem-solving orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to become familiar with the ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that SharePoint development is feasible, scalable, and reliable.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs and glitches for a seamless web interface.
• Coordinate and report to senior SharePoint developers about the progress of a project.
• Enhance the user experience to ensure ease of relevance of information.
• Design, customize, and execute exceptional SharePoint-developed websites per the user's needs and requirements.
• Set tasks and benchmarks and meet these development goals for web application projects as a SharePoint developer.
• Solve complex software issues easily while integrating the projects with MS Office.
• Improve an organization's overall business process and operational level functioning using SharePoint expertise.
• Work towards the goal of curating a smooth and impressive user interface.
