About The Position

The Knowledge Manager supports the U.S. Army Materiel Command. The candidate will assist in organizing, maintaining, and implementing data sharing, information, and knowledge. Candidate shall maintain data and information sharing procedures in accordance with standards and regulations as dictated by DoD Data Service Environment. The candidate shall maintain and facilitate the vetting of system access. The candidate must demonstrate applicable experience. Provide content management support through analyzing, editing, and posting content for data, articles, pictures, and documents to web portals, websites, SharePoint, and other locations in accordance with Government regulations, policies, and directives.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Active Directory, SharePoint Online Administration, and Architecture.
• Solid knowledge of SharePoint Online layout and ability to design new content libraries.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office 365.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.

• Design, create, test, and maintain visually pleasing, content-rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation.
• Evaluate site performance and ensure all web properties adhere to security and accessibility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the vetting of system access.
• Provide content management support by analyzing, editing, and posting content to various platforms including SharePoint.
• Maintain the SharePoint site including organization, coding, publishing, and updates.
• Evaluate site performance and ensure compliance with security and accessibility guidelines.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for software and web application maintenance and upgrades.
