About the position

The Shift Leader position is responsible for assisting the management team in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. This includes training and leading team members, ensuring a high-quality guest experience, and managing various operational processes. The role requires a professional demeanor and the ability to coach and develop team members to enhance sales and profitability while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each guest receives excellent service by leading and modeling CHARM and CARE.
• Assist management team with recruiting, training, developing, and communicating through consistent daily interactions with all Team Members.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all state and federal wage and hour regulations.
• Ensure all equipment is in good repair.
• Manage all processes including line checks, pull thaw, prep lists, food safety, etc.
• Verify that all food is prepared to spec with regard to portion, preparation, and plate presentation.
• Assist the management team with the execution of new initiatives including new product and menu rollouts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred.
• At least six months of shift leader or management experience for external candidates.
• Basic computer skills required.

• High performing Team Member who has been certified in all hourly positions, with potential to advance to a management position.
