About the position

As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will lead store operations during your shift, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and guiding a team of baristas. This role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and the delivery of expertly-crafted products in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for maintaining store standards, motivating team members, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead each shift and manage store operations to ensure quality customer service.
  • Motivate and guide team members to create an uplifting experience for customers and partners.
  • Maintain store standards for product quality, cash handling, and safety.
  • Train and coach baristas on beverage preparation and customer service.
  • Handle cash and ensure store safety and security protocols are followed.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
  • 6 months of experience in a role requiring constant customer interaction.
  • 6 months of experience delegating tasks to others or coordinating team efforts.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
