You will also be involved in cash handling and store safety, ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be expected to keep calm under pressure, especially during busy periods, and maintain excellent communication with both your team and customers. Responsibilities

  • Lead each shift and work alongside baristas to deliver quality customer service and expertly-crafted products.
  • Act as a role model for store operations standards and the Starbucks Experience.
  • Motivate and guide team members to create an uplifting environment for customers and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with store operating policies and standards, including cash handling and store safety.
  • Delegate tasks and coordinate the work of team members effectively.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment - 1 year.
  • Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interaction with customers.
  • At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees.
  • Ability to direct the work of others and learn quickly.
  • Effective oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of the retail environment and ability to build relationships.
