About the position
The Shop Helper at Caliber Collision is responsible for supporting customer service and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop environment. This entry-level position involves various tasks that enhance the overall customer experience, including housekeeping duties, assisting with vehicle maintenance, and running errands for the shop.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the daily housekeeping of the front office and production area.
- Drive company vehicles to run errands or pick up parts.
- Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs when necessary.
- Assist in Make Ready when necessary.
- Ensure all cars are protected for inclement weather.
- Secure all vehicles and ensure vehicle keys are separate and secure.
- Comply with all Caliber safety rules, guidelines, and standards.
- Perform other duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with the team and customers.
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance.
