About the position

Krista Mashore Coaching is seeking a full-time Video Content Creator to join their team in Discovery Bay, CA. This role focuses on creating high-quality short-form videos for various social media platforms, working closely with the CEO. The ideal candidate should be creative, up-to-date with social media trends, and passionate about storytelling to engage audiences effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Produce dynamic and engaging videos optimized for social media, ensuring high production value, attention to detail, and creative flair.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to conceptualize video content that aligns with brand guidelines and meets social media platform requirements.
  • Stay informed of the latest trends, challenges, and viral formats on social platforms to create relevant and timely content.
  • Edit raw footage, adding effects, music, graphics, and text to produce polished, visually compelling videos.
  • Tailor content for different social media formats and platforms, adjusting aspect ratios, timing, and creative approach for each.
  • Analyze video performance and adjust strategies based on audience engagement, views, and trends.
  • Ensure that video equipment is well-maintained, organized, and ready for use.
  • Work closely with other team members, including content strategists, designers, and marketers, to align on goals and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a videographer or video editor, with a strong portfolio of short-form video content (social media videos, reels, TikToks, etc.).
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, video specifications, and best practices for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.
  • Excellent storytelling and creative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of video lighting, audio, and camera equipment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with motion graphics or animation.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and strategies for optimizing video performance.
  • Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and other post-production techniques.
  • A passion for digital media, creativity, and staying ahead of trends in the social media space.
