About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site/Civil Engineering Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to project management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of site/civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software for design and project planning.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and any potential risks or issues.
- Employ Bluebeam for document management and collaboration with team members.
- Apply engineering principles in the assessment of project needs and solutions, particularly in hydrology, hydraulics and civil engineering contexts.
- Ensure that all project documentation is maintained accurately throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in project management within the site/civil engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of stormwater management design and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and HydroCAD or similar software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with hydraulics principles is advantageous but not mandatory.
