About the position
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Site Reliability DevOps Engineer II in Mountain View, CA. The Site Reliability DevOps Engineer II will deliver innovative and continuous highly reliable technology services with a strong focus towards developing shared integration services with automation and cloud enablement. This role involves participation in architecture and development design reviews for new implementation and integration projects. As a Site Reliability DevOps Engineer II, you will troubleshoot application-related issues and work with the infrastructure team to triage major incidents. You will also work with business users to understand their needs and issues, develop root cause analysis, and collaborate with the team for the development of solutions and enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver innovative and continuous highly reliable technology services
- Develop shared integration services with automation and cloud enablement
- Participate in architecture and development design reviews for new implementation and integration projects
- Troubleshoot application-related issues and work with the infrastructure team to triage major incidents
- Work with business users to understand needs and issues, develop root cause analysis, and collaborate on solutions and enhancements
Requirements
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins/Argo CD or similar tools
- Experience with Kubernetes (K8)
- Experience in analyzing/researching solutions and developing/implementing recommendations
- Experience creating AWS services monitoring
- Experience monitoring OS, middleware, and applications using cloud and on-prem tools
- Good coding experience in Java, Go, Python
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
