Help us transform our workforce of the future, today. We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You will collaborate closely with both development and infrastructure teams to design and implement solutions that enhance system reliability and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will play a key role in establishing and expanding the SRE discipline within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the establishment and development of the SRE function, including defining processes, standards, and best practices.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and resiliency.
• Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with development & Infrastructure teams to design and implement solutions that enhance system reliability.
• Be the primary resource for addressing difficult and complex problems, owning and driving them to completion while applying lessons learned across all enterprise services.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and scalability through proactive measures.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure adherence to current Architecture Standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Infrastructure as Code tools, Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps, Application Development, Technology Operations, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Advanced working knowledge and understanding of coding languages, CI/CD pipeline development, distributed computing, monitoring, and version control tools, and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
• Strong background in network architecture, including experience with load balancers, firewalls, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

• Advanced working knowledge of banking regulations, operational best practices, and compliance activities as they relate to the technology domain.
• Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator) highly preferred.
