About the position

The Site Superintendent/Site Safety/Quality Control is a crucial role at McKenzie Construction, responsible for overseeing daily operations on construction sites. This position ensures that projects are executed safely, within budget, and on schedule while meeting quality standards and client expectations. The Site Superintendent acts as the company's representative, coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily coordination and direction of construction projects.
• Ensure safety, budget adherence, and schedule compliance on site.
• Review project plans with the Project Manager and align daily activities accordingly.
• Manage multiple subcontractors and respond to client inquiries or complaints.
• Meet with potential subcontractors to obtain pricing and negotiate contracts.

Requirements

• 5 years of construction experience.
• OSHA or CQM training certification.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to pass a background check.
