About the position

Jerry Seiner Kia in South Jordan is a high-volume dealership that's seeking an experienced, high performing finance manager to join our team. If you have at least 2-years of experience in this position and you're ready to advance your career than this position might be a good fit for you!

Responsibilities

  • Manage Contracts: Oversee retail, commercial, and fleet contract deals, and ensure all paperwork is completed at delivery.
  • Sell Products: Offer extended service contracts, gap insurance, and theft deterrents in alignment with 20-group Averages.
  • Build Relationships: Maintain positive relationships with multiple finance sources.
  • Handle Paperwork: Obtain necessary lender stipulations, review deal paperwork, and submit it for funding within three working days of delivery.
  • Submit Paperwork: Ensure finance deals are submitted for approval within 24 hours.
  • Leasing Concepts: Explain leasing benefits to customers, compute charges, and prepare leasing contracts.
  • Train Employees: Promote leasing concepts among dealership employees and instruct salespeople on selling financing.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers: Work to achieve reasonable profit from every sale.
  • Forecasting: Establish finance forecasting to meet penetration and income goals.
  • Maintain Files: Keep insurance files and required licenses up-to-date.
  • Certification: Obtain and maintain AFIP certification.
  • Reporting: Maintain Daily Operating Control Log and prepare monthly reports on finance penetration for sales and senior management.
  • Accuracy: Ensure accuracy of paperwork (title, lien information, taxes, etc.).
  • Customer Interaction: Handle rate quotations, collect finance and insurance fees, and conduct follow-up calls as needed.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of automotive finance experience.
  • Degree or commensurate experience in finance preferred.
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available.)
