About the position

The Social Media Content Creator at Church Unlimited is responsible for developing and managing engaging content across various social media platforms. This role is integral to enhancing the church's digital presence and ensuring alignment with its mission and values. The position involves collaboration with multiple teams to create high-quality visual and written content, monitor social media interactions, and analyze performance metrics to foster community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and produce high-quality visual and written content for social media platforms.
• Plan, schedule, and post content consistently across all social media channels.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions promptly.
• Collaborate with the Communications Director to create and execute social media strategies.
• Foster an online community by engaging with followers and encouraging participation.
• Track and analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports.
• Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
• Work closely with various church departments to ensure cohesive messaging and promotion of events.
• Maintain and enhance the church's brand voice and identity across all platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of verified experience in social media content creation.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.
• Experienced in utilizing social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Exceptional storytelling abilities and keen attention to detail.
