About the position

The Specialist, Social Media Operations role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of social media creative jobs, ensuring seamless execution across all phases from planning to delivery. This includes close collaboration with cross-functional teams, managing complex timelines, coordinating resources, and tracking all project milestones. The role is inclusive of operation duties that are essential to enabling the efficient production of content, including influencer-created assets, while ensuring alignment with business objectives. The specialist should have a deep understanding and knowledge of paid social media, influencer and creative.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project timelines for all social media creative jobs, from strategy briefing to concept reviews to production kickoff and post-production to final delivery.
  • Actively track milestones such as; briefing deadlines, shoot schedules, media delivery deadlines, leadership and cross-functional partner reviews adjusting when necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Organize and facilitate all creative milestone meetings including holding agenda for 2x weekly reviews with senior leadership.
  • Take meeting notes and circulate feedback recaps for creative reviews and kickoffs.
  • Organize all jobs in MAS planning and any new systems implemented (Monday.com).
  • Ensure all social and influencer assets are hosted in figma and searchable to organization.
  • Manage cross-functional meetings between strategy, ADs, producers to ensure process and timelines are being upheld.
  • Input WedIDs and linking, create product pools to provide a seamless experience for the customer for all social and influencer content.
  • Ensure team has necessary seasonal toolkits, imagery and vendor provided assets for projects.
  • Provide support to solve inaccurate or missing information from MAS briefs (i.e. images, copy, promotional offers, product details etc.).
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant project management experience in social media or retail marketing.
  • Experience using project management tools including Monday.com, MAS planning or other comparable saas platforms.
  • Experience managing social media paid campaigns.
  • Understanding of creative requirements for social media ad units across platforms including Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest and TikTok.
  • Experience using creative software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • File and Asset Management experience through Microsoft exchange, google docs, Figma.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
