About the position

The Software Architect role focuses on high-level design choices and the establishment of technical standards for software development. This position is responsible for designing multi-leveled architecture and component interactions for large-scale software systems, particularly in the context of DataMart and Data Warehouse implementations within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Make high-level design choices and dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
• Design multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of large-scale software systems.
• Provide guidance to large teams and leverage extensive industry experience in software architecture.
• Design and create DataMart and Data Warehouse using Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Implement Client, Predictive, and AI systems effectively.
• Develop, document, and maintain end-to-end ETL data pipelines using IBI Data Migrator or similar tools.
• Implement data governance programs, ensuring data management, quality, and lineage are maintained.

Requirements

• 84 months of Data Modeling experience in designing and creating DataMart and Data Warehouse using Star and Snowflake schemas in the insurance industry.
• 84 months of experience with designing and implementing Client, Predictive, and AI systems.
• 84 months of experience with TIBCO Spotfire Analyst, Web Player using Iron Python, Java Scripts, and R.
• 84 months of experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining end-to-end ETL data pipelines using IBI Data Migrator or similar tools.
• 24 months of experience in developing data warehouses in the Workers' Compensation Insurance industry, including Medical Billing, Claims, DBL, PFL, Underwriting, Premium, and Payroll.
• 84 months of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, including triggers, stored procedures, packages, and advanced query optimization, database design, and implementation.
• 48 months of experience in implementing data governance programs with solid knowledge of data management, data quality, and data lineage.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or Data Science.
