As a Software Architect Sr within PNC’s Lending Technology RTB organization, you will be based either in Pittsburgh, PA, or Strongsville, OH, or Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion. ***** PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.***** Candidate will help us evolve our monitoring and integrate it into dashboards to help identify issues in the production environment faster. Ideal candidate should have experience in monitoring tools such as - • MonPo • Dynatrace • Big Panda And will have knowledge and experience in helping design and implement synthetic monitoring across a diverse technology landscape. This person will be our subject matter expert and will be used to integrate into new projects as well as re-evaluate existing implementations to identify and remediate gaps and help educate engineering teams on best practices in this space.

Responsibilities

  • Leads in the overall design of cross-functional, multi-platform, and Web-based application systems; oversees all application system processes.
  • Develops application architecture and blueprints aimed at reflecting enterprise business logic.
  • Defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools.
  • Directs mapping activities on specific technology platforms.
  • Provides technical guidance to application development teams.
  • Consults on integration and conversion activities.
  • Conducts reviews, and analyses organizational needs and goals to develop and implement applications.

Requirements

  • University / college degree.
  • Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
  • Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
  • Specific certifications are often required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
