About the position

The Software Developer Sr position at Innova Solutions is a full-time, contract role focused on building, implementing, and testing new applications and enhancements. The role involves ensuring system compatibility, training personnel, establishing technical standards, and maintaining documentation. The developer will work closely with customers and business analysts to create software requirements and ensure architectural integrity across products.

Responsibilities

• Build, implement, and test new applications and upgrades.
• Ensure system compatibility and integration of new applications with existing environments.
• Train and assist in the development of personnel, promoting cross-training efforts.
• Establish technical standards and guidelines for effective programming.
• Maintain current user manuals and technical documentation.
• Meet with customers to create software requirements and testing plans.
• Conceive and present architectural approaches for software applications.
• Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across the product.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Solid Biztalk development experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Proven ability to deliver quality solutions on time as a team-oriented developer.
• Experience in the entire product development life cycle.
• Solid experience with C# and .NET technologies.
• Proficiency in XML/XSLT and SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, including SQL and T-SQL comprehension.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2003/2005/2008 development.
• Experience developing Windows Forms and Windows Services solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with MSF Agile or CMMI processes.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.
