We are seeking a skilled Software developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software products.
• Work with a variety of technologies and programming languages.
• Integrate Jira with other tools and systems.
• Configure Jira workflows, fields, permissions, and user management.
• Create custom filters, reports, and dashboards using Jira Query Language (JQL).
• Implement and maintain Jira automation to streamline processes.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose automated solutions.
• Generate meaningful insights from Jira data and provide actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of software development processes, with experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Development experience, including knowledge of common programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) or web technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Jira Align (Cloud or Server).
• Proficiency in configuring Jira workflows, fields, permissions, and user management.
• Experience with Jira Query Language (JQL) for creating custom filters, reports, and dashboards.
• Familiarity with Jira automation rules, webhooks, and scripting languages (Groovy, JavaScript, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
