About the position

Mains'l Solutions is seeking a full-time, permanent Software Developer to contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the team as a thought leader. This position is primarily remote with office space in Brooklyn Park, MN. The Software Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable software applications, APIs, and databases, while ensuring that the solutions are user-friendly and meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable software applications, APIs, and databases using Agile Framework.
• Routinely analyze, troubleshoot, and debug applications for business requirements, ease of use, speed, reliability, security, and other quality factors.
• Collaborate with partners to design new custom features and integrations.
• Share knowledge by creating and maintaining component documentation and tutorials.
• Take ownership of daily project needs and communicate with the team using Outlook, Slack, Atlassian, and Monday.com products.
• Collaborate with the Product Team to ensure business requirements are understood and solutions are scalable and sustainable.
• Collaborate in the process of estimating project Backlog, and update time and task tracking systems as needed.
• Ability to work independently in a mostly remote environment as well as solid interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, preferably using React JS, C#, SQL, or similar languages.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent skills.
• 2+ years working experience in software development.
• Ability to program using best practices regarding security.
• Familiarity with transactional databases, experience with designing relational databases and optimizing database structure for performance and/or maintainability.
• Experience in responsive and accessible web design and development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ReactJS Hooks, TypeScript, ASP.NET, GraphQL, MaterialUI, CSS, Sass, or Styled Components.
• Experience with SQL Server, Windows Server, AWS environments, or Version control (e.g., Git).
• Ability to adopt a user's perspective and design or improve user experience.
• Experience in creating and implementing code tests and quality checks.
