AWS Nat Gateway team is looking for a Software Development Engineer for a critical part of its service that will deliver a VPC egress Proxy solution, a service that offers centralized security controls to avert data leak threats. This teams owns the external facing Nat Gateway product. This is a balanced team of senior and junior engineers that has proven it can deliver very important features for our customers. This engineer will work on a key part of the service, setting the team culture, best practices, mentoring, and delivering on the product roadmap. The successful candidate will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, be very customer-centric and able to think big!

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, deliver, and operate AWS global infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
