About The Position

The Software Development Engineer II position at AWS Utility Computing (UC) involves developing and maintaining complex software solutions that enhance service performance and security for a global customer base. Requirements

• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 4+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
• 3+ years of working with large distributed systems.
• Understanding of web services technologies such as SOAP, WSDL, XSD, and REST.
• Understanding of Federated Authentication, SAML, OAuth, OpenId, Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Experience with mission-critical, 24x7 systems.
• Excellent communication and sharp analytical abilities.
