About The Position

The Frontend Software Engineer at Adobe Commerce Services will be responsible for building secure and scalable high-traffic SaaS services. This role involves collaborating with cross-geographical engineering teams to enhance Adobe's SaaS-based products for merchants, focusing on performance, user experience, and UI design principles. The engineer will participate in all aspects of software development, including design, coding, testing, and documentation, while ensuring high quality and compliance with Adobe standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of full-stack experience in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Experience with databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Proficiency in version control systems: Git, GitHub, GitLab.
  • Experience with APIs: RESTful, GraphQL, OAuth.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Travis CI.
  • Familiarity with cloud services: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Interest in researching solutions to problems and pitching ideas to stakeholders.
  • Continuous learning approach.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the core features of the product and collaborate with distributed engineering teams.
  • Participate in design, coding, code review, unit/integration testing, bug fixing, and documentation.
  • Design services that scale horizontally and perform efficiently with low latencies.
  • Work in multi-functional teams to ensure a superb end-to-end user experience.
  • Prototype ideas and research the latest industry trends.
  • Ensure high quality by following coding standards and providing automated tests.
  • Take ownership of improving the availability, performance, scalability, and security of the product.
  • Participate in the development and update of production infrastructure to the latest changes.
  • Maintain high levels of security and compliance with Adobe standards.

  • Competitive salary range of $108,000 -- $198,500 annually based on location and experience.
