About The Position

The Software Development Engineer role in the Tech Deploy System Integration team at Amazon focuses on building innovative software solutions for internal customers, particularly for Tech Deployment teams. The position emphasizes reducing cognitive load and simplifying technology commissioning processes while leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as GraphQL, Java, Spring, and AWS. The engineer will collaborate with experienced team members to enhance technology, design customer-facing products, and ensure high-quality results through metrics tracking.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
