About The Position

The Software Development Engineer in Inventory Data Authority at Amazon is responsible for building and driving innovative and scalable systems that manage Amazon's inventory globally. This role involves developing bespoke financial software to support Amazon's expanding global business, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes across fulfillment centers. The engineer will work on complex problems, participate in cross-functional teams, and contribute to the design and implementation of internet-scale systems that enhance fulfillment operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
