As a Software Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion. This position may not be available in all geographic locations. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develops, tests and implements software solutions.
• Designs software solutions to address business needs.
• Writes code, tests and deploys software.
• Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
• Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

• Experience with ATM Applications and OCP containers.
• In-depth knowledge of container technologies, containerized application deployments, life cycle and maintenance.
• Working experience deploying applications in OpenShift.
• In-depth knowledge/expertise in the area of orchestration working knowledge of pipeline related deployment tools, such as Helm, Jenkins and GIT.
• Working knowledge of Cassandra and Elasticsearch beneficial.
• Working knowledge of SQL server beneficial.
• Java keystore working knowledge.
• Understanding of security vulnerability patching and maintenance.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement (CI)/Continuous Development (CD) integration pipeline and validation testing.
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Knowledge of application log management as asset.
• Containerized application health assessment and capacity review/optimization.
• Experience reading Dynatrace reporting/analysis an asset.
