About the position

The Software Engineer Lead (Performance Testing) is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of software systems through effective testing strategies. This role involves collaborating with QA Analysts and Developers to analyze testing needs, develop plans, and deliver testing solutions that meet project milestones. The position may also include coaching and mentoring team members in performance testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Work with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure proper testing coverage and system reliability.
• Analyze testing needs and develop testing strategies and plans.
• Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Ensure application documentation is complete and maintained in a timely fashion.
• Deliver effective testing solutions by meeting project milestones and adhering to quality standards.
• May coach, lead, and mentor other team members.
• Provide testing management for ongoing projects and future initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience with Apache JMeter.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace for application monitoring.
• Proficiency in HP Performance Center.
• Experience in performance testing scripting, analysis, and recommendations.
• Background in performance engineering.
• Experience with Jira or similar tools.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to document reports for the business.
