Software Engineer (Multiple Openings)

About the position

Design, implement, and manage Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure for clustered, high-performance cloud applications. Design and manage IT Security strategy including both infrastructure and applications. Research and implementation of new technologies. Well versed with Cloudstack, Nagios, Java, application servers, SAN/NAS, and VMware. Work with modeling languages, including SoaML, SysML, or UML, architecture tools, including System Architect, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or Magic Draw, or requirements tools, including DOORs or CORE. Work with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP.Net, C#, XML, SOAP, REST, UML, Message Flows, SOA Security, Microservices, and Messaging concepts. Working with application-level development (RTOS, Linux, .NET, GUI design, C#, C++, Java, etc.). Architecting NoSQL databases like Mongo, Cassandra, and Cache database. Responsible for setting up the UI/UX for responsive design (RWD) to make it mobile enabled and compatible with The Web and other mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP.Net, C#, XML, SOAP, REST, and UML.
• Architect NoSQL databases and cache databases.
• Set up UI/UX for responsive design.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in lieu of a Master's.
• Willingness to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods.
