About The Position

The Software Engineer (All Levels) position at Amentum supports the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office, providing essential engineering and programmatic services to the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command. The role involves developing, testing, and evaluating software systems in collaboration with hardware engineers to ensure effective integration and performance, while adhering to project constraints and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance required.
• US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develops, researches, designs, implements, tests, and evaluates software and systems.
• Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Consults with hardware engineers to evaluate interface between hardware and software.
• Formulates and designs software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
• Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
• Consults with customers concerning maintenance of software systems.
• Coordinates installation of software systems as needed.
