About The Position

As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that meet complex business needs. This role emphasizes reliability engineering and observability, requiring a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. The position is primarily based in a PNC location, with some flexibility for remote work at the manager's discretion.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in software engineering or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering and application monitoring.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Dynatrace, Evolven, BigPanda, and Logscale.
• Familiarity with application development and user experience (UX) design.
• Skills in process improvements and release management.

Responsibilities

• Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
• Writes code, tests and deploys software.
• Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
• Maintains and debugs software.
