About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field plus 5 years of hands-on technology development experience, or a Master's degree in the same fields plus 3 years of experience.
• Demonstrated solid ability in Java/J2EE.
• Demonstrated experience effectively using cloud computing, Tomcat, or Red Hat Linux.
• Demonstrated solid ability with web services and JMS.
• Demonstrated solid ability with Oracle, PL/SQL, stored procedures, or Exadata.
• Demonstrated solid ability with UI frameworks, such as React JS or GWT.
• Demonstrated strong level of competence in results focus, business acumen and curiosity, technology level influence, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology leadership across multiple large scale business applications in partnership with senior architects and product managers.
• Continuously improve the Application Development and support processes.
• Identify and complete opportunities for automation.
• Improve internal development and support processes.
• Meet or exceed commitments to customers.
• Foster a service attitude.
• Partner with technology senior colleagues to ensure reliable, efficient daily operating capabilities.
• Ensure application development initiatives are well managed and deliver on expectations (i.e., functionality, timeliness, and cost).
