About The Position

Seeking a candidate to lead, create, and build an internal Software department. The company currently outsources this work but aims to establish a robust in-house team. This role involves mentoring a Junior Software Engineer in the future.

Requirements

• Experience in managing a software company/department or in creating business models/plans for selling software
• Over 10 years of experience in Software Engineering with a strong emphasis on database building
• Proficiency in full stack development
• Expertise in AI / machine learning

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GUI development
• Experience in modifying Android apps

Responsibilities

• Design and develop documentation
• Revise strategies for software sales modeling
• Evaluate industry databases to determine the best plan of action for internal database development
• Create a comprehensive business plan for the software department
• Manage recruitment for the department, including reviewing resumes and hiring a Software Engineer who will report directly to you
• Oversee and manage the creation of the software department
• Lead database creation efforts
• Modify existing Android apps for current machines and products
• Develop GUI and front-end solutions
• Full stack development
• Incorporate AI and machine learning techniques
