Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers, product owner and other QE team members to design, develop test automation frameworks for UI, API and performance testing.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions to understand workflow and build test cases accordingly.
  • Continually stay up to date with industry changes and bring new concepts to your team.
  • Communicate with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders concerning the team's work.
  • Exhibits high personal commitment to quality, implementing Development best practices.
  • Works with Quality Engineering and Support staff to resolve problems with released software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
  • 7-10 years of experience in software testing, API Experience with BDD, the Gherkin language & supporting tools (Spec Flow, Cucumber…)
  • 5+ Years Object Oriented Programming experience C#
  • Hands on experience of using Jira and Confluence
  • 3+ Year(s) Appium UI Automation Framework
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with agile concepts, especially Scrum
  • CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Terraform
  • Working experience with test management tools PractiTest
  • Web services integration REST & SOAP in .NET
  • Experience with designing systems in consideration of NFRs: performance, responsiveness, concurrency, availability, supportability…
  • Good experience with TDD, BDD or xUnit test patterns
