Software Test Development Engineer

About the position

We are looking for a Software Test Development Engineer (SDET) to design and maintain scalable and efficient test frameworks for embedded systems, focusing on low-level audio drivers. You will work alongside developers to write, review, and optimize code, ensuring best practices in embedded firmware and automated testing. You will implement continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines, enabling faster, more reliable releases. You will have a strong experience with embedded firmware.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable and efficient test frameworks for embedded systems.
• Focus on low-level audio drivers.
• Collaborate with developers to write, review, and optimize code.
• Ensure best practices in embedded firmware and automated testing.
• Implement continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines for faster, more reliable releases.
• Increase test coverage and automate testing processes.
• Use Python to build test frameworks from scratch and write test cases.
• Conduct unit testing, acceptance testing, and other relevant test procedures.

Requirements

• Firmware development experience
• Proficiency in C and Python
• Experience with software test development and automation
• Working knowledge of Android O/S
• Experience in building test frameworks from scratch
• Capability to write and execute unit test and acceptance test cases
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of AR/VR technologies including augmented reality and virtual reality
