The One 23 Group, a Virginia-based Government Contractor, seeks a Software/Web Developer - Junior local to the St. Louis, MO area. In this role, you will provide website development and database management support to the Intelligence Community. You will administer, maintain, develop, and implement improvements to SharePoint sites and sub-sites on the Intelligence Community Net (COE) and SBU. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and augmenting websites to include daily updates to application functionality in support of requests, performing SharePoint Site Collection Services, and setting permissions of site collections in accordance with the SharePoint Security Model. You will also assess, recommend improvements to, and deliver an updated version of the SharePoint Security Model, create and modify site templates, and monitor SharePoint sizing and usage limitations. As a Junior Software/Web Developer, you will be expected to submit requirements within Service+ for any computer, storage, database, SharePoint, or Tableau infrastructure provisioning to be fulfilled by the UDS contractor. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our web applications and services are designed, developed, and implemented effectively, contributing to the overall success of our projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide website development and database management support to the Intelligence Community.
  • Administer, maintain, develop, and implement improvements to SharePoint sites and sub sites on the Intelligence Community Net (COE) and SBU.
  • Maintain and augment web sites to include daily updates to application functionality in support of requests.
  • Perform SharePoint Site Collection Services.
  • Set permissions of site collections in accordance with the SharePoint Security Model.
  • Assess, recommend improvements to, and deliver an updated version of the SharePoint Security Model.
  • Create and modify site templates, to include the development of Style Sheets.
  • Monitor SharePoint sizing and usage limitations, to include developing and implementing solutions to avoid sizing threshold breaches and site performance problems.
  • Submit requirements within Service+ for any computer, storage, database, SharePoint, or Tableau infrastructure provisioning to be fulfilled by the UDS contractor.

Requirements

  • 1-5 Years of related field or work experience.
  • Advanced experience in Visual Basic and modern programming languages such as Java, Javascript, HTML, Web services, application servers, FTP protocols, and the Intelligence Community system architecture.
  • Advanced experience with geospatial extensions and relevant application software such as MAPINFO and/or ESRI Arc suite of applications.
  • Advanced experience knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Advanced experience knowledge and experience in designing, developing, and implementing Web applications and Web services using SharePoint.
  • Advanced experience developing and performing analysis routines on data to be incorporated in a Web services environment.
  • Advanced testing and debugging skills.
  • Advanced experience in designing and implementing SharePoint Architecture and managing site collections and sub-site hierarchies.
  • Basic experience creating/managing sites and site collections utilizing SharePoint and Active Directory groups for access control.
  • Basic experience to facilitate revamping and consolidation of intranet site collections into a more manageable infrastructure.
  • Advanced experience evaluating requirements and then recommending and configuring the users SharePoint site accordingly.
  • Basic experience configuring SharePoint web applications with SSL certificates and claims based authentication.
  • Advanced experience investigating and troubleshooting customer order discrepancies ticket requests and return documentation.
  • Advanced experience working with Master pages for adding logos, edited CSS files, and files for making design changes based on requirements.
  • Experience developing common template for site pages, master pages, CSS, themes, and navigation framework.
  • Experience developing SharePoint governance document and procedures based on best practice guidelines.
  • Advanced experience in solving problems and building solutions to directly come up with a solution to a problem.
