Solution Architect

About the position

Fireblocks is seeking a Solution Architect to design, develop, and optimize solutions for our clients integrating with the Fireblocks platform. In this role, you will work closely with enterprise customers, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that drive digital asset adoption and operational excellence. We are looking for a technical expert with proven experience in the crypto space, who can bridge complex business requirements with practical implementation. This role requires direct engagement with some of the largest financial institutions and digital asset firms globally.

Responsibilities

• Engage and consult with strategic clients to architect secure, scalable solutions.
• Offer best-practice recommendations, live solution design and discussions, and facilitate discovery conversations to better understand client use cases.
• Lead complex integration projects, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor, translating business needs into technical architectures and delivering strategic guidance.
• Stay ahead of digital asset trends, blockchain advancements, and evolving financial infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar technical role in the crypto or digital assets space.
• Ability to analyze the impacts and benefits of potential solutions given available data, and the ability to adjust recommendations on-the-fly as more data becomes available.
• Demonstrated experience in REST-based architecture, including OAS 3.0 spec and knowledge of webhooks and websockets.
• Ability to write code and deliver efficient solutions against customer timelines.
• Ability to design and deliver scalable and secure solutions for large-scale enterprises.
• Experience working with major financial institutions, custodians, or digital asset service providers.
• Deep knowledge of crypto and blockchain technology, including Web3, DeFi, and smart contracts.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.

• Previous experience in designing high-availability architectures.
