Solution Architect

About the position

The Solution Architecture role focuses on Enterprise Risk Management, requiring proven experience in designing and implementing platforms that support Liquidity Risk Management (LRM) while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The position involves translating complex requirements into architectural blueprints and designing risk management platforms that align with client business objectives and technology roadmaps. The candidate must have proficiency with databases and data pipelines, familiarity with risk functions in banking, and an understanding of key risk frameworks and regulatory requirements. Additionally, expertise in cloud architecture and security, particularly with AWS and Azure, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with key business partners and managers within each business segment.
• Communicate monthly updates and produce presentations to senior management on strategic matters.
• Consult with the Enterprise Architecture team on systems design and implementation.
• Develop project scopes and business cases that align with business and IT strategies.
• Facilitate the development and implementation of Enterprise Architecture standards.
• Guide improvements in tools and capabilities to support the Enterprise Architecture strategy.
• Manage strategic accounts and relationships for the Enterprise Architecture department.
• Oversee the implementation and operation of Information Technology solutions.
• Train, mentor, and coach colleagues and subordinates as needed.
• Perform comprehensive discovery analysis and document implementation in the form of a technical solution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the design and implementation of Enterprise Risk Management platforms.
• Strong expertise in architecting platforms that support Liquidity Risk Management.
• Proficiency with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Familiarity with risk functions in banking (operational risk, credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk).
• Understanding of key risk frameworks (Basel II/III/IV, IFRS, DORA).
• Experience with Restful APIs, API-led design, and Event Driven Architecture.
• Cloud Architecture & Security expertise, particularly in AWS and Azure.
• Ability to perform cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive team player.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $140,000-$160,000 a year.
